Rosemarie “Rose” Fenchel is a chemical and saline injection abortion survivor. Her mom shared this truth with her just before her 91st birthday, recalling how poor they (my parents) were trying to raise the five children they already had while living in a small three-room apartment. They both found healing and forgiveness through their faith in God.
Her career as a Clinical Nutrition Manager/Dietitian, mostly in the long-term care arena, has broadened her love for preserving and respecting life at every age, from womb to tomb. Working as a Director of a Dietetic Internship Program, she taught her interns the importance when practicing as a dietitian, to not only to treat a diagnosis, but to compassionately respect each patient/client as a unique individual.
Connecting with the Abortion Survivors Network brought her clarity, understanding, and healing from the trauma she carried her entire life. Rose has a passion for sharing the truth that babies do survive abortions. Using her voice to promote life in various platforms, she brings a message of hope and encouragement about the value of every human life. She desires to engage the church and her community to advocate for life and bring healing to anyone who has had an abortion, has been involved with abortions, or has been affected by abortion in any way.
She shares her incredible survival story with her younger sister, Michele Smith, who survived the same chemical and saline injection procedure 11 months after she was born. She is a co-leader with her sister Michele for More Than Sisters. Rose resides in Northern NJ with her husband Eric.
