Karen is a speaker, author, television producer, Director of the Hollywood Prayer Network (HPN) and co-founder and producer for JC Productions, an independent television and music production company.
Karen has had extensive experience producing TV Specials and documentaries, such as a Segment Producer of a feature documentary entitled Go Public, coordinating producer for the PAX Special Changed Lives: Miracles of the Passion, and associate producer for Headliners & Legends with Matt Lauer. She also produced three documentaries for HPN entitled The Hollywood Crisis, The Hollywood Tribe and The Hollywood Community, and is currently in development with a feature film.
As the Founding Executive Director of the Hollywood Prayer Network, Karen also speaks and teaches around the country on how Christians can make a difference in changing both lives and our culture, by praying for the people in the Hollywood entertainment industry and understanding that it is the world’s most influential mission field. She and her husband Jim speak on that topic around the country, along with their other passions: The Power of Prayer and How to Talk About Jesus Without Freaking Out. Karen is a published co-author of three books, with Jim and their writing partner Victorya Rogers. They are entitled “How To Talk About Jesus Without Freaking Out,” “The J Bomb” and a book of powerful stories, “The Day I Met God.” They are all available on amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com.
As a USC Theatre Producing graduate, Karen is a National Board member of the Producers Guild of America. She has been married to her best Pal, Jim for over 32 years and they have two sons: Christopher and Cameron – both filmmakers in Hollywood.
