Holly Marie has always had an intensely strong sense of faith and the value of family. For Holly, one of the great thrills of telling her remarkable story is sharing the experience with her newfound extended family, and meeting her Grandmother that she did not know existed for over 40 years. She has five children and several grandchildren and lives in a small town in Oklahoma.
Holly has held a wide variety of jobs: a restaurant server, factory packaging assembler, gas station worker, bread baker, and powdered milk mixer. After earning her Associate’s Degree in accounting at Moraine Park Technical College in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, she worked in an accounting firm, became a tax preparer, and served in the accounting office at a furniture store.
Holly’s story was reported widely when her identity was first discovered, but her exclusive in-depth interview with David Muir for ABC 20/20 launched the release of her memoir, Finding Baby Holly (2023) by Hachette Books and introduced a national audience to her astonishing story. Holly’s hope and prayer is that someday, the mystery surrounding her parents’ death when she was ten months old will finally be solved.
