When he was eight years old, during a conversation with his mom about his skin color being different than hers, he found out that he was not actually born into the Holland family. He learned that his birth mother was a mentally challenged, eighteen-year-old young woman who, being unable to care for her young child, had placed him in the care of the Tennessee Department of Human Services at only seven days old.
Steventhen spent most of his life with many questions and no answers, but at 27 years old he was reunited with his birth mother.
It is amazing to see the power of God at work. He is not only an all-powerful God but the God of the broken and forgotten. He is the God that brings hope to the darkest of situations and bridges the gap between brokenness and wholeness.
Steventhen has spoken at many events around the country over the last 15+ years of ministry. Some of these events include Church services, men & women’s retreats, student camps/retreats, school assemblies, juvenile detention centers, mentoring programs, abstinence education, children’s homes, drug & rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, mental health facilities, pregnancy care center banquets and more…
His story will encourage mothers to deliver their babies, and other families to adopt. Everyone searches for peace. Experience THE JOURNEY God has taken Steventhen Holland on, and you too will find the peace of God that passes all understanding!
